Copper Canyon, Texas is a very small town of 1,300 residents located in Denton County, on the west shore of Lewisville Lake. It is also conveniently situated just over 30 miles north of Dallas. Residents of the town earn incomes that are far above the state median, but real estate prices are also much higher than many of the surrounding areas. Copper Canyon is a very new town officially, having been incorporated in 1973, but many of the residents were there long before that. Today, residents enjoy rising home values in an idyllic setting.
The biggest challenge to buying a house in the town is the limited amount of space within city limits and the small choice of homes for resale. One of the easiest ways to live in Copper Canyon is to buy land and build a new house.
